Aaliyah's debut album Age Ain't Nothin' but a Number came out in 1994. Aaliyah Danahaughton was only 15 when the album became Gold. R. Kelly was a significant influence in this project that put her in the limelight. In 1996, she debuted her second album One In A Million with Jermaine dupri and Timbaland. The album contained the hit number one single If Your girl only was aware. Aaliyah gained notoriety as an R&B vocalist after the release. In 2000, she co-starred with the legendary martial artist Jet Li as Jet Li in Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver, the film producer, saw her at an awards show and suggested her this part. Queen of the Damned was her first film role in 2002. It is based off the Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels followed, with Zee as her character. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Aarti Mann is the first generation Indian-American to be born in Connecticut. Mann, her stage name is an abbreviation for Mankad which is her name as a married surname. However, she uses both Aarti Mann and Aarti Majumdar as her professional names. Her acting career started in the the mid 2000's, with a few roles on TV and films. Apart from The Big Bang Theory, the other shows she has starred in are Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) She's also appeared in major commercials for brands like Volvo the world's largest auto maker. The actress lives in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter. She continues to pursue her acting profession.
