Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian actor best known for her work as a character in the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters, and Venevision television series Cosita linda and Voltea pa' que te enamores. She is also an accomplished model as well as a dancer. She is a Montreal born native, she grew up in Texas and was always interested in dancing. She has been training in diverse styles of dance since she was young. As a 15-year-old was when she began competing in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia garnered significant fame during 2008 after she was a part of the second season of the Univision beauty pageant show Nuestra Belleza Latina. In 2010, she made her acting d but as a receptionist in the Telemundo television show Aurora. In 2015, she appeared in the action-drama Tattooed Love, her debut film.
