Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who combines soul gospel jazz and R&B in her signature blend. From Broadway to European events and bars, Avery Sunshine has been a hit anywhere. Sunshine refers to Denise White. She hails from Chester Pennsylvania, where she started her musical career by singing and playing piano at church. She attended Spellman College in Atlanta where she started her musical apprenticeship in the city's R&B scene. The Fighting Temptations The first single with her vocals was Stalk You an exclusive house 12 that was released exclusively in Japan The song has been remixed by a variety of producers and is a staple of her live sets. The singer has also provided her voices in The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. She was then hired to be the main keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage play Meet the Browns. In 2007 Grammy as well as Tony Awards-winning singer Jennifer Holliday sought her out to serve as the director of choral for the play's theatrical version of Dreamgirls during the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Sunshine was noticed by people across the nation through 4 performances per day during 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine was later asked to sing in the presence of President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
